Boat engines wear out FAST.
When buying used dont count on it lasting long.
In fact, I would rather buy a boat with a blown engine and get a complete discount and more towards a new one.
Then you know you have some pretty good hours to go.
Will you be keeping it at the marina or at home?
Ive noticed some pretty good discounts with the older 2 strokes as well. Just how much does it cost to repower? Say a couple of 225hp Yamaha or similar?
