Hi. When you say "hood", do you mean roof, or convertible top? So you have a 1988 911 Cabriolet? Assuming yes, it might be the switch on the dash or the motor(s) that control the automatic top. Auto repair is typically open during this crisis and although fixing the convertible top on your vintage 911 probably isn't considered critical, find another shop or wait for yours to open, but either way, take it to a pro.
