I use a steering wheel "The Club" that locks thru the steering wheel's spokes and up against the inside of the windshield and prevents steering wheel from rotating after parking the car with the wheels turned all the way to the left or right. Like bicycle "Kryptonite" locks, a thief would then have to freeze the lock's key cylinder with a sprayable/injectable freezing agent (freon refrigerant?) and then hammer/sledge the lock apart while frozen to remove it.

The Club is easily defeated by hacksawing through the steering wheel. It's better than no deterrent and I use one myself for my 964 when it's parked in public but realize its limitations.
Most "anti-personnel" measures are mostly useless if the thief is bent on getting your car, with a tow truck and some determination. Safest thing is to avoid parking it in public or on the street overnight.
