Please note that this will also work for the '74 model. The rear valance on the >'73 covers the muffler. You will have to modify your valance for this or make the pipes a bottom exit.

There has been some discussion of opening the opposite end of the muffler to cosmetically look like the Dansk sport unit. I however have not seen what internal modifications need to be made.

I would seem that this muffler might reduce backpressure in that Roger W Chaney, (RWC comments) reference a leaning of the motor.

Tom is correct about cutting the chunks into pieces to remove them from the exhaust holes. It's pretty easy.
