Gordon, mine measure right around 32" also. I think closer to 36" would be better for doing this job with the engine in situ. Maybe send Len a note and reference this discussion; I don't want to get between you and he but maybe he might rework them before you do the install, i.e., refit them both with approx 4" longer hoses. The Return hose is easy because one end by nature can be trimmed (fastened with a Norma clamp at the fuel rail), but the Supply line needs to be crimped (by Len) on both ends.
