Door solenoid connector rod is broken, but the pix shows detail of ball end bound up by some type of mechanism below it/capturing it. The door control rod cannot be forced to rotate downward due to the "mechanism". I have ordered the plastic connecting rod, but unless the rotation of the ball end can be freed I'm sure it also will fail under the stress of activation. Suggestions/problem fix/remedy? 1986 Porsche 911 Cab.
