Experience with Electric AC - Fan Belt issues.
Have just installed electric compressor AC system including a WOS Alternator capable of generating up to 170 amps. Measurements from this alternator while the AC is operating show amps of approximately 70 amps, which is likely being consumed by the electric compressor, measured at 45 amps plus three condenser fans and one evaporator fan. No lights were switched on. Obviously the load on the fan belt is significantly higher than "normal" 1970-1980 911 systems.
I have now run my AC several times for hours at time with no problems. Any comments regarding fan belt issues will be welcome.
