I still have my vintage set of VHS tapes but, haven't watched those in about 5 years. I inherited my MIL's Pioneer Laser Disc and all of her Sci-Fi discs last spring including the original releases.
I can live with the slight pause as the disc reader flips sides so that I can see Han shoot first.
