Wow, interesting timing for this thread to appear. I just recently talked with a couple of guys here in MD at a local cars and coffee that seem to be having a similar issue with this guy.

The owner of the car said the metal-work and prep appeared to be nicely done, but he's not sure about the paint because the guy cant seem to get it finished, he says 3 weeks to completion and 6 months later is still not done, always excuses as the wait passes into another year! Sad part is this guy was no wait payer, draw after draw with no lag-time so the car should've been done 2 yrs ago!

He even showed me where the shop has taken in a couple of other projects (one of them being a pretty bad 71 burn car that has a thread hear on the bird) and got them out while this guy's car his just sits! Really sad to hear.

I guess the bright side is that the car owner has a close relative that sits on or works with the State Legislature and overseas some kind of business committee so in essence, I think this one could be about to get interesting. Good luck to all parties involved.
