Thanks everyone for your input; all opinions seem to align with what I was thinking. It's been a great car that I can just jump in and drive without worry about "what-if" something were to happen. I drive a lot of air-cooled cars and it's amazing how tight this car drives and how hard the engine pulls; really speaks to the quality of these early cars.
