Now, my dad's 74 is my project car, im 72 and ive been working on the car for 10 years, as time permits.

So, I kind of stepped back, the other day and asked myself, what do you want the car to be? Previously, i'd been sliding down the slope, buying "better" parts, while doing work and studying the physics, mechanics, material improvements posted on our threads.

I am aiming for a quick, sharp handling fun car, something i can take to the track a few times a year for dE events, canyon carving and take out to the market on occasion.

This is a fun, semi retirement journey. It is fun to see others actualizations of their vision - and how they make it happen.

stock 74 internals,MS EFI, PMO ITB, crank fire EDIS, RSR flywheel, 6 lb KEP all aluminum clutch, ER sport rubber bushings, Bilstein HDs, New PMB brakes, discs, mc, Quaife quick rack, new SSi, Scart muffler Dunlop Direzzionales 205x15and champaign, sport seats, rebuilt 915 with GT lsd, Rensport shifter, stomsky, carrera bars and 21/27 t bars. Still need to work out the corner weighting and aignment. May go with Group 4 7x15 torque thrusts.

If i had any more coin, i would up the CR, cams and twin plug.

ce la vie
If going to 7x15s Fuch 23.3 fit fine unless the tire gets too all with too much f/s, 215/60 is too tall w/ too much f/s on a Fuchs 7

So if the wheels are available w/ a tad more inset say ET25 instead of ET23.3 you get that extra little bit of breathing room
