Well its butt ugly but it works. As you can see I missed the location a few times before getting it right hence the trial and error holes. Hard to hold that marker pen at the proper angle. Did not have the clip for the screw so just put a 5mm stud bolt and attaching a wing nut with washer backup.
Had some really hard plastic stuff that is used on chain guides at packing houses to keep the chains in line. Same stuff as you might find on a chain tensioner on a bike or car. Just cut a block and then started dremeling away everything that was not needed. Hard to work with as the material melts when hot.
Just a Redneck repair that doesn't show until you take the fairing off.
