I ran a 944 Automatic for years. The trans line starting weeping near the exhaust manifold. It is a single barb type of connection.

I used a dremel to remove the crimp collars and the old rubber line between the hardline and radiator on both the high pressure and return side. I replaced with standard rubber trans line and used hose clamps. Never had a problem.
