All is well, yes.
And the Ensign, well, she's now an Lt JG, and here's the text I got from her the other day: "3,264 days down, 29 to go." She had a good ride, always top-ranked, but marriage and family now appear to be higher ranked for her. She did her duty and she did it quite well - now on to the next chapter of her life. (And from what I understand, even when you're out, you're never out. Hell, she's marrying another DDG officer... Go figure!)
