My new to me 72 had its original bright trim painted black in the past. From the places its chipped off, the bright trim looks to be pretty good underneath. Its a driver level car and I don't want to have the bright trim redone, but I do want to remove the black paint.

What are your recommendations to remove the black paint without damaging the bright trim underneath?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
