Owned one, spectacular car, upgraded to a gts….wife’s car but I do all the long-haul driving…..wouldn’t change a thing. The S has a great motor, the convenience package gets you good seats, (14-way), and keyless entry……

Make sure the car has the right basic options, stuff like the LED interior lights, without that package, you don’t get lights on the sun visors….and in 2015 there are no vents for the backseat passengers, might not be a big deal.

Our Macans have been very reliable, but basic maintenance - if you want to do it by the book, can get expensive.

Be sure the pdk has been serviced, expensive to replace and only a few repairs are possible without a $15k bill to replace.

Plan on $2k minimum for any service, annual, tires, brakes….etc….if that’s in the cards, he won’t be disappointed.

Our S had 60,000 miles and no major failures when we sold it 18 months ago.
