Hello cdrik915, thank you for the advice. I think you're right. Given that its so inexpensive to change, it would benefit the car either way.
I just had the IMS bearing, rear seal, clutch and motor mounts changes, so its not like I am hesitant to spend money on my 996.
I find the 996 to be a great car that has been bad-mouthed terribly. Its actually the best bang for the buck the you can get in a Porsche now a days given the price on some of these cars.
