I used the 3M kit and the results last 6 months to a year. I went online to Rock Auto and bought a brand new pair of headlights (all bulbs included) for the old Subaru Baja. $50/each (TYC brand with favorable reviews). It makes a huge difference. Driving at night is super bright. I could barely see anything out of the old ones.

And of course I took it up a 16 mile dirt road in the mountains after our last rain storm, so I have to share that. The AWD is amazing on these.
