I’m a big fan of Griot’s products as well and I have a question about ordering liquid car car in the winter: will the products still be good if they freeze? I have been only ordering liquids during the summer, although honestly, I usually only use them in the summer as well.

Nice to meet you Rutager
For best results and product stability, they should never be frozen.
In our development process, one test that is always ran are multiple free-thaw cycles. We do add certain ingredients to improve stability in free-thaw scenarios. However some chemistry just does not hold up to it. For example water in oil emulsions which most waxes are comprised of will typically lose their ability to hold together adversely affecting their performance. While polishes (oil in water emulsions) can be shaken together and continue to perform well. Soaps, dressings and spray Detailer’s are usually resistant and fairly stable. It is one of the challenges I’d living in Cold climates. Please stay in touch. Would love to do a rally with a fellow enthusiast. Appreciate your reaching out
