I got this fuel pressure regulator 3 years ago for $75 to replace the defective Bosch. Yesterday temperature was below 32°F, I started the ‘89 Carrera 3.2 and the motor came to life on the first attempt.
Test your Bosch fuel pressure regulator using a gauge:
- Test #1: Bridge terminals #87b and #30 (@ DME relay).
- Test #2: Bridge fuses #16 & #17 (counting from bumper to windshield).
Connect a pressure gauge at the test port located on the fuel rail near cylinder #1.
