Two engines? Yes, that would add value.
The 76 is such a screwed up engine situation to start with that if you were to build an RS spec or even RSR spec engine, on your numbers matching case, it would most definitely add value. A buyer for that car starts the inspection by seeing it the 5 blade fan is gone, are the heat exchangers backdated to get rid of the sh.., and does it have a fender mounted cooler. All but a 100% preservation class example should have been gone through by now. The buyer for a 76 wants to see the factory screw ups fixed. Fix it so much that it’s now 73RS spec? That’s a home run.
