hi anderson, the recaro rallye 2 was presented to the public for the first time at the motomechanica exhibition in frankfurt in october 1973. from 1974 it was sold in shops. your two seats are different years of construction - there were 2 series. the driver's seat is the older one (1974- ca. 1976) your passenger seat was made later. they look the same because the cover (at least the center panel is no longer original). these seats were never available as an option for porsche 911 (compared to the predecessor rallye 1). the seats were an aftermarket accessory.
