That driveshaft seems a pretty strange setup, maybe a rear engine layout wouldn't have been so bad running 4wd.
Here is a great video on the build. The "over-rev" is shrouded in mystery in this video as well. They did all this work and had no spare engine on hand.
They will have one next year. Anyone know the cost of this project? It must be very high.
