While disassembling our Zenith 40 TIN carburetors, this part snapped off.
I believe it is the enrichment solenoid. So now I've got this tube sticking out and no way to get the brass threaded portion out of the body.
Is that pipe something that can be sacrificed? Meaning can I cut it out so that I can try to extract the brass portion from the body and get a replacement for it? My guess is it is only retained by the brass, but that is only a guess.
I see the solenoid and a gasket in a Zenith manual. I'm not seeing that pipe though. So I don't know if it's even available to replace.
