Just thought I'd share my latest triumphs -- and one small pain in the @ss problem:
1 relay that got rained on and shorted out [there may have also been battery acid issues, too -- long story] -- fixed.
1 brand-new-works-great clutch (thanks PP!) -- fixed.
1 brake master cylinder (again, thanks PP!) -- fixed.
Electrical short that took out the alternator -- and a lot of other wiring -- fixed.
Bled the brake system -- and found out that my year old right rear caliper does not adjust.
This is the third one. Of course, they were not PP calipers. [Hint: Two vowels, both the same....]
3 calipers and they were all defective. Okay, I know, I know. But can I just say that I bought these before I knew of PP??
But, at long last, the Orange Beast is back on the road. And running great!!!! Doesn't really stop too well though....
