I need some expert help here, regarding the battery disconnect.
As our car only gets driven about once a week, I have gotten into the habit of disconnecting the battery when parked in our garage.

I have been told that this was bad for the ECUs, that it causes a reset.

- Is this really an issue ?
- Am I better off leaving the battery connected and installing a battery maintainer ??
- is there a particular maintainer that is recommended ??

I never disconnect the battery in my 928. Sometimes I don't drive it for a month or longer. But in winter I do put a small battery maintainer on it.
