Two years ago valuations were higher and people were looking for stay home projects however those days are somewhat over. I have heard the drive trains are good for 250k miles and the galvanized bodies last even longer. it depends on how it shows, too. Is the engine compartment detailed and is it clean in the wheel wells and underneath? Is there a maintenance log book and receipts for major items such as seals, clutch and any head work? Is the exhaust solid? Are the tires, belts and hoses fresh? All this will affect valuation and sales appeal. If you re not sure, get a 2nd opinion from a mechanic about the overall condition.
