swapping the belts, fuel pump, maybe the fuel hoses and a lot of the rubber parts can alter the value a lot.
If it was garaged the dash might not be cracked. my point is in what you said you sound around right but that may depend if it's a car that had lots of maintenance or one that simply ran to this point with only oil changes. One real serious drawback is if it figure someone thrashed it, if it has a lot of mods, a boom box , things like that, maybe some kid owned it and learned how to drive ( hard) on it. commonly then the mods take place whereas if it was owned by an older person just as a car and not as any sort of "racer" it may have lived a more gentle life.
I think we were all 21 once and can reflect upon what things we did to our cars. One reason I'd never buy from a lot or a dealer, I like to gather a bit about it's history and let the owner drive me for the first test anyway, see how they drive it. some are very gentle by habit, others wreck stuff by being rough.
I'd list what maintenance things you have done and if none maybe ask a bit less.
any potential owner will know about the timing belt so just doing that at the very least, might be worthwhile and then you can say that's just been done.
Prices here in Canada seem about in the ballpark to what others noted, taking exchange of about 75% into account.. they might be a tad higher than Im seeing here.
tires matter too, mine look nice but are all checking and rotting and unsafe now, so that's $1000, just guessing. If they park by feel and have messed up the rims that's expensive to fix. I was lucky to get nice rims.
