I think the time has come to sell my much enjoyed 2004 R1100S. As much as I still enjoy it after 15 years of ownership, I just don't ride enough to justify it and the roads around here (more particularly the drivers) seem to be getting more and more dangerous for bikers - my reflexes aren't getting any quicker as I get older! I'm in Toronto, Ontario.
Looking for some input on pricing - I'm the second owner and the bike has just over 30,000km on it (about 18,000 miles) with no damage, and it's in perfect condition with cases (both city and touring lids). Only changes to stock are clear indicators front and back.
R1100Ss seem to be very rare here in Canada and watching the market over the last few years they rarely come up for sale, so it's tough to find any comparables. Not sure how easy or hard it would be for a US buyer to acquire it, I've bought cars in the US and imported them to Canada which is super easy, but not sure how the reverse works..
Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts on what they think these should sell for I'd be interested to hear.
