Thinking of selling 2004 R1100S
I think the time has come to sell my much enjoyed 2004 R1100S. As much as I still enjoy it after 15 years of ownership, I just don't ride enough to justify it and the roads around here (more particularly the drivers) seem to be getting more and more dangerous for bikers - my reflexes aren't getting any quicker as I get older! I'm in Toronto, Ontario.
Looking for some input on pricing - I'm the second owner and the bike has just over 30,000km on it (about 18,000 miles) with no damage, and it's in perfect condition with cases (both city and touring lids). Only changes to stock are clear indicators front and back. R1100Ss seem to be very rare here in Canada and watching the market over the last few years they rarely come up for sale, so it's tough to find any comparables. Not sure how easy or hard it would be for a US buyer to acquire it, I've bought cars in the US and imported them to Canada which is super easy, but not sure how the reverse works.. Anyway, if anyone has any thoughts on what they think these should sell for I'd be interested to hear.

Sweet S, in the US typical prices are from $2500 to 5500 with a few low mi sweet example BCRs $6-9k. I just bought my '02 38kmi very good condition (your's maybe even better) BxrCupPrep for $3500 with bags, Corbin seat and lower peg kit. So maybe try $4500 US and endup in the low 4s high 3s?

2004 is a dual plug model. Nice motorcycle, 4000 to 5000.

Pacific blue is not a common color and the R11S wears it well. I second Desertbcr on the price range and that's in USD to be sure.

Thanks for the input - I'm struggling with this, I want to keep it as I know I'll miss it, but on the other hand it just doesn't make sense to keep it and barely use it. Last year it cost me $1/km in insurance which seems silly, but I just don't get a lot of opportunity to give it any significant use.
I think these R1100Ss are future classics so not likely to go down in value any more, particularly for nice examples, which makes me want to keep it.

They are not worth selling, make time for it.

Yeah doubt they'll drop much more in value but also don't see them ever going up to more than $6-10k. My R1150R on the other hand not sure I'll be able to even give it away, it's a very unique styled bike too but always been less interest in them. Agree with Swamper the S is just such a awesome and beautiful bike so try to keep it.
