It’s in both planes. It’s like I’m pushing through something and never quite make it. I can put it in gear and drive around, it’s just tough.

I should reiterate that I don’t think this is the fault of your bushing. I’ve had transaxle issues since the day I bought the car. One of them was excessive side-to-side play at the shift lever while in gear. Your bushing resolved this. I’m just wondering if I reassembled it wrong, and was hopeful that someone would go, “Oh! Your /insert item/ was misadjusted.”
