That's the puzzler on this. The only way this could have happened were during the brake fluid flush, or during the rocker panel repair. Both of whom take steps to prevent this.
I know it wasn't there when I had the oil return tubes done at Walker's place a few weeks back. It would have been impossible not to notice with the wheels at eye level.

I wound up ordering a new wheel. I'll have this one refinished so I have a spare. Lead time is too far out to refinish before Parade, and I've got things to finish before then.
Funny thing though, a factory wheel was cheaper than the FuchsfelgeUSA wheel that this was...geeze those have gone up in price since I bought this one.

I'll have them all ceramic coated...
