From what I've heard, the are $100,000+ in the US. And, most have been modified to put out well over 500 hp. This one sounded modded to me.
Not sure how that one got to Calif. Didn't have plates, though!
Looks fairly low key, but a very serious machine!

THere is a guy in Detroit who imports these and sells them, about $60,000 for a R34 with 55000 miles on it, not bad for the performance that they have. That is my second favorite car in the world. Porsche is #1.
