California is the main reason for the sale, sad to say.
The EFI upgrade from CIS makes it immediately the enemy of the state.
What makes the car even more special to me, it was a father (sons) project car. One son helped with the body & paint, the other helped with the engine and suspension.
We built the car I could never afford to buy from the factory.
When I talked with Brian Rarlyl8 for headers, he told me to be careful: "these cars aren't meant to go 150mph". One early morning, I let it run in the upper desert above LA and at 130 it was pulling like freight train. I remembered Brian's wise words and never tempted fate.
Super stable at speed but it still is a 40+ year old car.
