Well, my point in posting a few of mine, is that these cheesecake photos of young girls and celebrities are carefully crafted, artfully posed and lit, and for the most part have some degree of digital manipulation. They’re really sort of cartoons.
Nothing wrong with that fantasy. We all have it. But quite a few of our wives and daughters could be just as much a fantasy with the same photographesr, makeup artists, and digital editors. I first met Mrs Dave at when she was 23 years old. I don’t mind saying she was jaw dropping, with or or without makeup. These modern “internet influencers” couldn’t hold a candle to her. Aerobics instructor, windsurfer, runner, gym rat, blonde hair, golden tan, million watt smile, just gorgeous. And brilliant too, but we’re talking physical stuff here, not intellect.
But what really impresses me is 35 years later she’s still hot. She’s had an Impressive career, given me a beautiful daughter, feeds me well, loves me, cares for me, drives our p-cars with zest (we're driving the ‘57 out to rennsport at the end of the month), hikes, skis, runs, tells me to get my lazy ass out of bed at 4;30 am and go to the gym with her. She’s a bad ass, with a good ass. She’s still nice to look at, in or out of her clothes. Yeah, she’s aged, but so have I. She’s doing it well, and I’m proud of her.
In my mind, that’s way cooler than some self absorbed 20 year old posing for money on the internet .
