Since my objective on this build is to keep it budget friendly, my costs have been minimal. I prepped the front struts (lowering the spindles) myself, had a buddy weld them up, and I painted them with John Deere green paint - total cost was $15 for the spray paint (elephant racing wanted something like $1200 to do this so I think I made out like a bandit !!). The rear KYB shocks were $100 on amazon after much research to find the right fitment. The most expensive part was the Rennline bump steer kit bought from our host at $300 (granted the car already had the turbo tie rod kit which is a must). Everything else was labor which I did myself. The most time consuming part was getting the rear height where I wanted it. Any adjustment required complete disassembly of the rear suspension on both sides - not difficult but very time consuming. After all that, $180 for an alignment and she is on the road
