I did instal new rubberish bearing spring plates but was not happy with the movement of the spring plate arm despite installing additional spacers to avoid binding. So I reverted back the true and tried polibronze bearings from Elephant racing that I have had on the RST and previous Rvenge for probably about 18 years.
Today Alberto finally got its wheels on and landed on Terra Firma.
And, off to Bromley’s it goes for final prep and paint. It’s now been 14 months since the major body work and paint was done and I’m really happy to note that I have not had any flaws and shrinkage anywhere.
Stay tuned.
Cheers,
Johan
