I have a question that has been bugging me since I got my car back in last year April. I have a 992 GT3 touring.

When I built this car and when it was put into production in late last February, porsche listed as a standard feature that the tpms included tire temperature and track mode. The owners manual also states that the tpms has tire temperature capability.

However, my tpms only shows me tire pressure in psi. When I ask my dealership, they stare at me like a deer in headlights. When I called Porsche NA, they admitted that they deal more with porsche connect issues and don’t know a lot of technical questions and referred me back to my dealership.

Does anyone have anymore clues or info about this? I was excited to see that porsche was finally going to provide tire temp as it is a helpful feature at the track. BMW M cars have had this feature for years. I was obviously disappointed when I saw that I wasn’t given what was stated.

It shows now on Porsche’s website that the GT3 tpms offers tire temperature.

Thanks in advance.
