I have a question that has been bugging me since I got my car back in last year April. I have a 992 GT3 touring.
When I built this car and when it was put into production in late last February, porsche listed as a standard feature that the tpms included tire temperature and track mode. The owners manual also states that the tpms has tire temperature capability. However, my tpms only shows me tire pressure in psi. When I ask my dealership, they stare at me like a deer in headlights. When I called Porsche NA, they admitted that they deal more with porsche connect issues and don’t know a lot of technical questions and referred me back to my dealership. Does anyone have anymore clues or info about this? I was excited to see that porsche was finally going to provide tire temp as it is a helpful feature at the track. BMW M cars have had this feature for years. I was obviously disappointed when I saw that I wasn’t given what was stated. It shows now on Porsche’s website that the GT3 tpms offers tire temperature. Thanks in advance. |

This should be in the water cooled forum: https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-996-997-991-forum/
Air cooled cars don't have tire pressure monitors.

Patrick. I paid you $$$ for some 996 sway bars 3 weeks ago, you said you sent them two weeks ago, have not supplied me with tracking info, and I have not received the bars, and you don’t answer my texts!!!!
Where are my sway bars, if you are not scamming me you would have at least sent me tracking info. So what is the answer??? |

Yea, he stiffed me and got $400. I reported him to PayPal and Venmo and I hope they take action, but it is out of my hands. He said his PayPal account was new so he said to use friends and family, because of this I have no recourse with PayPal, should have insisted on PayPal business that way if he doesn’t give tracking info they won’t release the money.
PayPal and Venmo account name was tammi-clay, e-mail godistheonlyrightway@outlook.com Phone numbers 318-289-7864 or 805-291-4481. |

Patrick Wu tried to scam me when I needed to buy a fan housing for my 1984 Targa.
Bottom line: don’t use PayPal friends and family or other forms of payment that leave you no recourse when dealing with unknown sellers |

Thanks for outing a known scammer; I hope he is blacklisted from the site. Hopefully someone catches up to him in person and teaches him a lesson.
