I need to swap a set of sunvisors in an '89 Speedster. Unique to Speedsters, they bolt-in from the top of the windshield frame.





Any guidance on how to manipulate the rubber frame so as to "do no harm?" Will it need to be glued back in? If so, 3M Weatherstrip adhesive? Or, is it like the rocker rubber trim in that it merely sits in its channel?


The procedure requires that the rubber windshield surround (which also appears to function as the top seal weatherstripping) needs to be lifted to access the mounting screws.
