I dream of acquiring a "high" mileage, non-AC, Speedster and doing a handful of stealth / reversible OEM+ type of modifications and then reveling in the drive. Alas, even the 40k mile Speedsters are out of my price range, not to mention I'd be paranoid that some unobtanium, Speedster specific part (like the windshield), would require replacement.

I do find it humorous the number of Speedsters that came equipped with intensive windshield washer and headlight washers. Total anachronism. Dealers (a.k.a. "Stealers") must have loaded them up to juice their profit margins.
