Glad you guys approve the Koni orange calipers…..my wife’s idea!
Pulled a rear turbo rim off the RST and test fitted it. Just needed an 8mm spacer to fill out the fender opening. It may need a few more mm once the car is aligned, but that will have to wait.
Spent an inordinate amount of time finishing off the tunnel innards..wished my hands were smaller. Happy with the fully restored pedals although I must admit that those Rennline covers for the brake and clutch are difficult to instal correctly as one drills directly into the metal pedal which already has ribbing embossed on its face so your drill has a habit of falling off the center of the hole thereby risking marring the soft aluminum pedal cover. My solution was to oversized the drilled holes so I could straighten the covers (brake is still off kilter..will have to fix). Also, the heads of the suppled screws are too large for the cover holes so I will have to source new ones…..quite disappointing!
More later.
Hopefully skiing tomorrow.
Cheers,
Johan
