I have a picture of that car burned into my conscience and is the one that comes to mind first when I think "ST"... it's a beauty.
When I first started racing I was too poor, and too eager, to do it properly, so I drove my race car to the track. 8 hours each way. Always made it to work Monday morning!
I wouldn't do it again. Point being, often race cars don't make great street cars, but at least with a 911 it would/should be pretty simple to soften things up a bit and maybe put some rubber back in the suspension.
Whatever you decide, if you have the means and space to do so, keep it!
