you'd have to find a solid rotor to work, but there are lots of VW/Audi calipers up into the early 2000s that will bolt up to the 944/SB trailing arms. most are 36-38mm.
late 356/very early 911 models IIRC use a solid rotor that is otherwise the correct dims for a steel-arm 944...but often expensive.
or you can use a small wilwood caliper with the wagens west adapters.
