looks like a squirrel chowed on the connector to my camshaft position sensor on the driver side (2008 Cayman). any tips on the best way to get to the sensor wiring into the harness, to splice in a repair?

I can get to the sensor from underneath the lift, but getting to the wiring for the repair will be more of a challenge. wondering if it might be easier from above or through the rear wheel well (as with the coils and plugs).

so far everything else seems to still be in one piece, other than maybe the connector into the oil level sensor. first time for me with squirrels or mice, lol.
