I replaced my underperforming (on the track) 2.0 with a "built" 2.7 911 engine. I can tell you, the car is brutal on the street. To me, an LS conversion just means you're going to die faster. . . Old track joke. As previously said, a 911 engine transplant is what you need. They're easier, if that's a phrase that can be used here, as the car is designed to accept that transplant. The 901 doesn't need anything to beef it up for normal conditions and it just sounds amazing in third gear. My take. It is your car and you need to do what you think is best for you.
