R12S - 102hp & 85ft/lbs
R1200S - 123hp & 83 ft/lbs
R1200RS - 125 hp & 93ft/lbs
I agree that the power of the R12S isn't what many were hoping for. I know that I was expecting more. I think it's a sexy package, though.
The BMW Motorrad USA website mentions that it will have "practical luggage" (whatever that is), but the "Build Your Own" feature doesn't show it. Maybe that feature isn't fully developed yet, or maybe the luggage design hasn't been finalized. With decent luggage, I think it might make a fun solo tourer. It still has plenty of power to eat anything the R1100S can swallow and more.
