I'm getting tired of my intermittent tach on my '84 Targa and time to pull it out and get it fixed. I can slip it out of the dash fairly easily, but I can't get it around the upper steering wheel shroud without risking damage. I've haven't removed the shroud before and just wanted to check the process. It seems that it is different depending on model year; some have screws on the bottom, some sides, etc. Here's a pic of mine, with a screw on each side between the halves. I've got a Momo wheel/hub, and based on what I'm seeing it doesn't appear that will have to come off if I remove the shroud. Any guidance is appreciated!
