If we are in that price range, we use MCS www.motioncontrolsuspension.com We talk with their team about car weight (corner weight) spring rate, desired use of car etc... and get a custom set of dampners...
We have done a couple G-body cars and countless later watercooled platforms and the products are fantastic.
