The bill is in the Assembly, where as I expected, it’s getting evicerated.
The last amendment in the assembly was to make it so there would be no smog required on transfer or ownership, but would be required every 2 years after that. Which of course makes no sense and is useless.
But things are still being negotiated. The deadline is mid August, so there’s still some time. I’m hopeful, but not optimistic that anything useful will come out of it.
